MOAR REVIEWS! MOAR!

Today is not a good day for America. Today is also a depressingly common day for America. I am not equipped to provide any sort of analysis for why mass shootings continue unabated in this country. All I can say is that I stand in solidarity with all of those in the LGBT community for they are once again the target of violence based on backward attitudes. I also stand in solidarity with the millions of peaceful Muslims across the planet who will once again be painted as a monolithic hate group by small-minded politicians and those who place fear and hatred above tolerance and understanding.
To try to lighten the mood, here’s a picture of a very fluffy cat:

Let’s talk Gilmore Girls, shall we?
We start this episode with Lorelai and C-Money complaining about Snakes on a Plane. Man, that really takes us all back, doesn’t it? Back to when people thought the internet could be used for more than just posting cat gifs and yelling at those who don’t share our personal political beliefs. Back then, people thought crowdsourcing a movie and fill it with fan service would equal dollars. In a way, they weren’t wrong, but we all must remember that the internet cannot be trusted to do anything. Isn’t that right, Boaty McBoatface?

I’ve spent more time than I care to calculate writing about this show. Even after all of that time, I don’t think I could categorize myself as a Gilmore Girls fan. I don’t dislike the show, but I’m not captured by it in the way so many people have been throughout the years. Having said that, it’s obvious that whatever made this show special is gone in season 7. Maybe it’ll get better?

Luke punches C-Money in the face during the cold open. Review’s over! Nothing left to say! Thanks for reading!

I cannot believe I made it all the way to Season 7! You guys! Season 7! 22 more reviews and I’m officially done with this project (though I’ll probably review the revival as well.)
Honestly, I’m not sure how to feel about this show going into Season 7. Season 6 was very difficult because basically every character that I liked ended up acting like a complete asshole by the end of the season. I don’t know what to expect with this season. I don’t even know what I want from this season. No more Poochie, I guess?
